notes were taken at the homicide scene on the day Mike's body was found in the six-day-old fire rubble. It tells about a subject (Paul Pollard) running from the murder scene the morning of the arson, Feb. 18, 1981. His tracks were followed to the highway where he was picked up. It also names two of the murderers (Percy Sargent and Lionel Cormier) and it states "homicide". There are 3 documents below that were created after the arson/murder. The first document was created on Feb. 19, and it states "Arson, Murder".  That is strange since Mike's body was not found until 5 days later, Feb. 24.  The second document's date is Feb. 25 and it states "Homicide" and the third document date is March 6 and it states "Arson-Murder". But yet Deputy Attorney Generals sends me a letter saying "[T]here remains tremendous difficulties with prosecuting this case particularly in view of the fact that the 'homicide scene' was not treated as such until a significant period of time after your son's death, potentially jeopardizing important evidence in the meantime."
