Aiding in escape is a crime. Maine law §756 Aiding in escape is a class C crime. A Class C crime is punishable by up to 5 years incarceration and a $5,000 fine. There is a sheriff's affidavit that states that Linda was in court with Mike. Yet Linda was never charged for aiding in Mike's escape.
