Percy Sargent was never interviewed by Det. Barry Shuman or Det. Ralph
Pinkham. After they retired Det. Gerald Coleman was assigned Mike's case in
2002, 21 years later. He immediately started tracking Cormier and was instrumental in putting
Cormier - (half brother to Paul Pollard) back behind
bars for armed robberies. He told me in no uncertain terms that he
was going to solve Mike's murder because he knew Cormier, Pollard and Percy
Sargent killed Mike but he left the detective department in 2011 and
went to work as security guard for the Governor of Maine. I believe he learned
what the State of Maine is covering up in Mike's murder and knew he
wasn't going to solve it. He is a good man and I will always be thankful
to him for investigating Lionel Cormier and putting him back behind bars
where he died in 2009. |
