Neither Percy Sargent nor Lionel Cormier were ever questioned. Pinkham's 2/26/81 statement from an inmate that told him he overheard Percy tell another inmate that he believed Mike set him up and he had just sent the call out to have Mike taken care of.  And in 2005, Cormier told a judge that he was never charged, indicted or even questioned about Mike' murder. So Homicide Detectives Pinkham and Shuman blame their obstruction of justice (PI Buchanan told me "it sure was"obsturction of justice.) on Mike. The news clipping below shows Mike's arrest in March of 1980 that started the whole situation that cost him his life and it was his only arrest for drug trafficking.
