Reporter Jeanne Curran reported that Mike escaped while he was being led to court for
sentencing is not correct. Mike along with his girlfriend, went to court on Dec. 3, 1980 for
his sentencing. He was sentenced
to six years with one
year to run concurrent in Maine State Prison for his first drug charge. He was allowed
to go the clerk's office to call his father. He wanted his father to bail him
while his case was appealed. Linda went to her car before Mike and when
he came out of the courthouse she had the car running and the back door
open. The document below proves that Linda was with Mike. She was never
charged for aiding in an escape. |
